CANNES FASHION CINEMA

A festival of fashion creatives in the evocative and refined setting of Cannes. Stylists, costume designers, tailors and pattern makers are called to interpret a film, of their choice, presenting a collection 10 outfits max. The clothes can be inspired by every element of the film: director, actors, location, atmosphere or theme.

Cannes, capital of the seventh art with many attractions, thanks to its beaches, its Mediterranean climate and its exceptional geographical location, not far from Nice, Monaco and Saint-Tropez, attracts three million visitors from all over the world every year. Obviously, when we hear about Cannes, we think without a doubt of the International Film Festival and the Croisette, the unmissable promenade that runs along the beach; but not everyone knows that an English politician and writer, Lord Henry Brougham, who fell in love with the city in 1834 made it known to his compatriots. Certainly, today, Cannes is no longer the fishing village it once was! The capital of cinema is known worldwide for its professional salons, for its prestigious hotels, frequented by the stars of the seventh art and other lucky tourists, but above all for the famous Palais del Festival, which rolls out its red carpet every year to welcome the stars of world cinema.
